November Club Projects

Okay, so I didn't listen to myself. The time gets away from me and so anyway here is our club projects. We had a great time and missed everyone that didn't get to come.

These bows are so darn easy and fast. Doesn't it look like a store bought bow? All you need to do is cut 3 3/4" X 9" stripes, 3 3/4" X 8", 3 3/4" X 7" and then 1 3/4" X 3" then fold and twist each end of the stripes to the center and stick down then stack all of them on top of each other. Use the 3" strip for the center. Just tape it in a circle and stick it in the middle of the ribbon. You are done. Easy peasy.

I love this card. So elegant and easy to make.

This is a hybrid card. I printed the lodge from My Digital Studio and stamped the rest.

So sorry I posted so much today but have been busy with the craft shows and club. We have one more craft show on November 12th in Mustang at the Bridge Church. I have to get busy on Christmas things for that one. I am so excited, it has been hard to wait but I wanted to concentrate on Halloween and Thanksgiving first. Well stay tuned for club projects for November. I have given myself a good talking to about getting the posting done in time for everyone to see what we will be making ahead of time. I am also going to try my hand at some tutorials.  I was promoted, in September, to Sr Supervisor and registered today to go to Leadership in San Antonio. I have been working towards Leadership all year and am tickled that I earned the opportunity to go. So that means I have to plan some projects to swap there too. WOW! I better go get busy. Until next time, get out those stamps and create something. Send me a picture and I will post it on my blog.

Craft Show #2

This craft show was a two day show. All three of us were there together again. More fun times.

Fall card sets. I saw a set similar to this on Connie Stewarts blog and thought it was a great idea. The customer can pick which embelishment they want and from several sentiments.

I love the Under the Stars stamp set and had so much fun making these Smores kits. The invitations were fun too. I saw a tent on Lori Heilings blog and got the idea for these. My tent is very different but still cool. There is a racoon inside the flap.

This is Rita's reindeer. If you would like to buy one just send me an e-mail. They are only $25 and so darn cute.

Here are Rita's scarecrow's. These are also for sale and only $25. I have one of each. These are great to hang on the door because they are flat and can be between the door and the storm door.

CRAFT SHOW #1

I did this craft show with Alison Anderson, another demo, and my friend Rita. We had a really good time.

OCTOBER CLUB

We had fun at club. I love how the projects came out. Everyone did a great job. We had a little bit of trouble with adhesive on these lollies but realized we needed to use hot glue.

These pumpkins are so stinking cute and really fast and easy. I love them. Perfect for the table or desk at work.

Craft Fair Projects

Hello again. I have some projects to show you that I will be taking to the craft fair this Saturday. I have been having so much fun making these and I hope everyone likes them. You remember the Spooky Garland and now I have the Cornucopia finished. I am offering each of these as FREE gifts. Anyone who books and holds a workshop with my in October gets a chance to win the garland. Same for November with the Cornucopia and for December there will be a calendar count down. Still working on that one. LOL

This is another project from the UStamp with Dawn Holidays. Thanks to Tanya Boser for her wonderful project. And of course the beautiful children are three of my five grandbabies. Aren't they the cutest?

More projects.

This is a tree ornament or a tag that I saw on Becky Roberts blog. She made these while at Founders Circle. I just had to make them as soon as I saw them. Soooooooo cute.

This little acron guy I found on this blog http://www.frenchiestamps.com/. I love her blog and her videos.

Swap Buddy

Okay, I talked to Jess yesterday and she got her SWAPS so now I can show you what I sent to her. This is the card I sent. Sorry Jess I forgot to add the Dazzling Details. Eventhough that is what I was waiting for before I mailed them to you. DUH!

This is a 3-D Easel Card. I really like how this one came out.

And these are tree ornaments. I used the white bark paper form the Frostwood Lodge DSP and punched out 4 ornaments with the Ornament punch. Then punched out the bird with the Bird Builder Punch. I used some of the Baker's Twine for a hanger.

Halloween Garland

WOW, don't you just love this garland? I got the idea from Erica Cerwin. She made one for the UStamp with Dawn Holidays. It is even better in person. I hope you enjoy. I am going to offer this at a craft show for anyone who books and holds a $300 workshop in October. I will have something like this for the next three months so stay tuned and let me know what you think.

I used a lot of different ribbon than she did. I used several retired ribbons, yeah!! I also used a different stamp set than she used. Her's was Spooky Bingo Bits. Also I used some different colors of ink and paper. A big thanks to Erica for her inspiration.

Birthday Cards

Hello everyone. Today is a cool rainy day. Perfect for stamping. Here are two cards I made today. The first is for my son Wes. His birthday was the 10th but he works out of town for two weeks at a time and just got back in Monday. The second card is for my friend Michelle. She lives in Deleware. Her birthday is the 20th and mine is the 21st. We have been friends for years. I miss her so much and wish we could be together this year for our birthdays. Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by. I would appreciate a comment so I know who has been by.

Jess' Swaps from me

Well that was just a trick. Just in case she is following my blog now I am going to wait to show you what I sent her. I sure hope she likes them. I can tell you that they are made with the Lodge stamp set and the coordinating paper. She told me that they wouldn't be getting that stamp set and she really likes it. Stay tuned so you get to see what I sent.

UStamp Holidays Swap

I got the pleasure of swapping with someone in Australia. Her name is Jess and here is what she made for me. On the right is a beautiful card. The ornaments are embossed with clear EP. On the left is an album and below are a couple of pictures of the inside. It is gorgeous. I really love them both. I wanted to swap with someone out of the US and got my wish. I hope to keep in touch with Jess and hopefully some day we will get to meet each other.

Spice Cake Family Frame

I love these family frames. Janet came over and we both made one with the Spice Cake DSP from Stampin UP. I have to say that I am in love with that paper. Aren't these very pretty? If you want you can come and make one, the cost is $25 or you can order one and I will make it for you, the cost is $35. These make wonderful gifts or really nice home decor'.

Above is Janet's and below is mine.

Club members projects.

This is Kathy's card. She created a totally new design with her supplies. Really fun idea.

Here are Rebecca and Tanya's cards. Kathy, Tanya and Rebecca's pillow boxes and Twizler Treats.

Everyone did a great job. Daidria left before I got the pictures done. Her's were very nice too. Not sure about Barb. WOW, I am pretty sure she had left as well. Man my mind is slipping away. LOL

TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

WOW! It has been a while since I have posted anything but I have been busy. I have some pictures of the projects I have been working on.

Gently Falling Stamp Set

I haven't added a sentiment yet because I am still trying to decide what I want but I will get that done soon. I used Cajun Craze, Early Esspresso and Chocolate Chip paper. You get a different lookon each. This is the bleach technique. I saw the video here.

Halloween Treat Bags

These are the new cello bags in the holiday mini from Stampin UP. I will have more for you to see in a day or two. I am just getting started on my halloween projects so stay tuned.
